Fox Theatre on San Jose, CA Built in 1922 is an old-time movie palace located in the heart of downtown San Jose,CA . Undergoing an extensive restoration and seismic upgrade. This classic is requiring sculptural recreations from old photographs, recreation of ornamental ceilings using original fragments. These elements on both the interior and exterior of the building wil be fabricated using natural fiber reinforced cast plaster (for the interior),cast stone as well as GFRC (for the exterior parapets).
Leland Stanford House, Sacramento, CA the purest restoration since the State Capitol restoration in 1975. In addition to the ever-present seismic upgrades required for a public building, we are engaged in the extensive restoration as well as recreation of the original plaster ornamentation, both inside and outside of the building. Adhering to the rigourous requirements of the State Parks and Recreation department.
Leland Stanford house was owned by the Stanford family when the two brothers were Sacramento merchants. When Leland became involved in the trans-continental railway, he enlarged this house as well as raising the original 1857 brick structure by one floor. Designed to be the Sacramento office for the railway project as well as Leland's residence when in town, it is being restored to its original victorian splendor and added as another jewel in the crown of the California park system.
